February is when my hiatus will end... but there's a catch.

I won't be commissioning as much anymore.

As much as I would like to continue paying for pics of blimp babes, I need to cut back. Unless I can find a job soon that pays more then my current job, it's gonna be like that for a while ( which sucks, as they're ideas I've REALLY wanted to commission for awhile). Another reason as to why I'm cutting back is simple.

Debt.

As it stands, I owe quite a bit of money. Payments are manageable but if my hours got really cut back or I was fired, I'd be quickly screwed.

So, instead of spending as much as I used to, the money I'd paid on commissions would go towards getting my debt paid off asap.

Here's hoping I hear back soon about that job.

Not long after I posted my "Good-Bye" journal, my dad comes in, gives me $200, and tells me to go pay the cable bill.

So... yeah, this is kinda embarrassing.

Didn't mean to pour into a journal, only to come back and say "false alarm" a half hour later.

So, I don't know how dad did it, I'm not gonna question it, just be thankful I get to keep my internet for another month.

I know I'm on hiatus here but I'm here with more bad news.

My internet is getting cut-off.

For years, my father was the one paying the bills, now he can barely pay them. He used to have the house paid off and plenty of money in his 401k. Now, thanks to his drinking and gambling addiction, he has a $50g mortgage on the house and his 401k is completely drained.

You're probably asking "Then why don't you help with the bills, asshole?".

First: Fuck you for calling me a asshole.
Second: I have no problem with helping with the bills but as you may have read from my "Hiatus" journal, I can't really do much until next year. Yes, while I was able to FINALLY kill my car loan recently, there's still the matter of the gun I still need to get out of pawn. Even if that weren't the case, Dad wouldn't let me, as he feels it's his responsibility as the "bread winner" to be the one to pay the bills. He says he plans to finally quit drinking and gambling... but it's not the first time he's said that.

So in short, I'm losing my internet thanks to neither one of us being able to afford to pay the bill.

I can still check in from time to time on DA but everything else I can't do or I'll quickly use up my data on my phone.

So yeah, I won't be back until I get my internet back... and who knows how long that will be.

Though I guess in retrospect, it won't matter anyway once Net Neutrality is repealed ( let's face it, we're losing it whether we want to or not ).

If I don't return, It's been a fun time on DA.

I'm going on a Hiatus.

Why?

Because I'm close to FINALLY paying off my car loan! That loan has been a pain in the ass for years, with it's $246.96 minimum monthly payment. Sadly, while I would love to just pay it all off in one payment this month, some factors here are the reason I have to put any commission plans on hold until January.

1) I spent too damn much already on commissions and adoptables.

2) I had to pawn a gun I REALLY don't want to lose, so whatever cash I can spare is going towards that to get it back.

3) Bills. I know I got some incoming and paying them off in time will be a challenge.

And finally...

4) Video Games. This month, some kick-ass video games are coming out, such as Mario's Odyssey and Wolfenstein II, and no way in hell am I missing out on those!

So yeah, for a while I'll be pinching pennies until both the car loan is dead and I have my gun back.

Okay, question for all of you.
What makes more sense, a woman using inflation as a sleep-aid or as a wake-me-up?
So far I got four for sleep, two for wake and one for both... which I'm not really sure how that works.
